Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in an in-center role. The BCBA will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing ABA programs for our learners, while working closely with a team of RBTs and behavior technicians. Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.

  • Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst or the ability to obtain.

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA, with a strong background in working with children with autism.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and the principles of ABA.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in providing supervision and training to RBTs and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foundational Training:

    • Conduct initial training sessions for new RBTs, covering foundational ABA concepts, data collection, behavior intervention plans, and ethical considerations.

    • Develop and update training materials, including manuals, checklists, and online resources, to ensure they are comprehensive and aligned with the 5th edition RBT Task List.

    • Provide hands-on training and modeling of ABA techniques and strategies in both simulated and real-life scenarios.

  • Ongoing Training & Support:

    • Offer ongoing support and professional development opportunities to current RBTs, including refresher courses, advanced skill-building sessions, and problem-solving workshops.

    • Assist RBTs in addressing challenges they encounter in the field by offering guidance and practical solutions.

    • Monitor RBT performance and provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to help them achieve their professional goals.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with BCBAs and the training team to ensure that RBTs are following treatment plans accurately and effectively.

    • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss learner progress, staff performance, and training needs.

    • Maintain clear and open communication with RBTs, providing timely responses to their questions and concerns.

  • Documentation & Evaluation:

    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, RBT progress, and any additional support provided.

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

    • Assist in the development and administration of competency assessments for RBTs to ensure they meet the required standards
